Sensorium D-Lite
EpiC Journey into the future of Marine BIM

State of the Industry
Building Information Models (BIM) are not as prevalent in the marine sector due to lower build quantities. Sensorium aims to deliver an out-of-box, ready2use collaboration product targeted at SME’s participating in AUKUS pillar 2. This will commercialise locally developed immersive technology using Fremantle as an alpha/beta testing site for productised services around marine Engineering, Procurement and Construction. The business model will revolve around an immersive XR equipment leasing model with a proposed tie-up with a content training hub.
Using Immersive Extended Reality (XR) technologies in the delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) offers several significant benefits:
· Enhanced Visualisation
· Improved Collaboration
· Early Design Validation
· Efficient Communication
· Realistic Site/Vessel Walkthroughs
· Training and Safety
· Remote Collaboration
· Design Iteration
